Support the History Nook

The History Nook is a labour of love—a cozy corner of the internet where curiosity is cherished, chaos is welcomed, and knowledge is shared freely. I don’t believe in locking stories behind paywalls. Everything here is offered with open hands, because I want history to feel accessible, magical, and alive for anyone who wanders in. But running the Nook—writing, researching, designing resources, and keeping the candles lit—takes time and energy. If you find joy, comfort, or inspiration here, your support helps me keep creating. It’s not expected, but deeply appreciated. Every tip, share, or kind word helps this little project grow.

What Your Support Helps With

Your generosity keeps the History Nook glowing—and helps me create more cozy, curious, and beautifully chaotic content. Here’s what donations will go towards:

📚 Purchasing research materials – from history books to journal articles, strange Victorian manuals, and museum archives

🌐 Website hosting & domain costs – keeping the blog up, running, and as pretty as a Georgian ballroom

💬 Boosting the History Nook Discord server – to unlock more features, better audio, and extra sparkle for our community space

🧰 My new PC fund – saving up for a setup that won’t crash every time I open Photoshop, video editing tools, or thirty tabs of medieval nonsense

How To Support the Nook

If you’d like to help keep the Nook glowing, there are a few gentle ways to do so:

💛 Tip the Nook on Ko-fi
A small donation goes a long way toward helping me keep the lights on and the tea flowing.
(No subscription required—one-off tips are very welcome!)

📬 Share my work
Tell a friend, repost a blog link, or summon a fellow history goblin. Word of mouth is pure gold to small creators like me.

✨ Just be here
Read, explore, leave a comment, or pop into the Discord to say hello. Your presence in the Nook matters more than you know.

🐾 A Note from Index: 🐾
This is my human. She works very hard to keep the Nook filled with stories, sparkles, and ancient nonsense. If you enjoy what she makes, consider tossing a coin her way. Or a fish. Or both. I’m not picky.
